  1. If Gatsby was still alive, do you think him and Daisy would continue with their affair?

  2. I suspect that, if Gatsby were still alive, he would continue to pursue his relationship with Daisy. However, Tom would likely interfere, perhaps by taking Daisy away on a vacation (or simply moving away).

  3. I think that if Gatsby didn't die eventually Daisy would just get bored of Gatsby. it seems like she only likes him cause of his money this is apparent in many parts of the book. She didn't even show up to his funeral. Money could only entertain Daisy for so long until i think she would just cut it off with Gatsby. But who knows he died so i guess we'll never know ...

  4. I truly think that nothing would have happened because Daisy has already shown that she isnt interested in Gatsby anymore and has chosen Tom. On the other hand, if they were to continue their affair i think it wouldnt last long. It would end with either Daisy simply getting bored of Gatsby, where not even his money and popularity would keep her entertained or at one point Tom would interfere.
Also, i believe that if Wilson wasnt the one that killed Gatsby and Gatsby and Daisy then continued their affair Tom would have most likely been the one to kill Gatsby.

  5. Why did Wilson kill himself? Do you think it would have been a better choice if he didn't?

  6. I think that Wilson killed himself because he couldn't stand the idea of living without his wife. No matter what she did, he still loved her. As well, the idea of dealing with the consequences killing Gatsby was probably a pushing point as well. Going to jail would not be a very enjoyable experience.
